I get a lot of people asking me how to add beads to the ends of braids, so I thought I would just do a quick photo tutorial for those of you still learning.
You are definitely going to want to purchase a beader, it makes the process a lot easier and quicker. You can find one at any beauty supply store. This is what it looks like…
Step 1: Add your beads to the beader in any color/pattern you like.
Step 2: Take the end of the braid and slip it through the opening of the beader, slide the beads upward onto the braid. (sorry, forgot to take a pic of this step! But I’m sure you get the idea..)
Step 3: Loop the very end of the hair around the last bead.
Step 4: Wrap the rubber band around the hair just above the last bead. You may need to slide the band upward a bit so the remaining beads will slide over it easily.
Step 5: Slide the rest of the beads over the rubber band and you’re finished!
I love this tutorial!!! Straight to the point!
ReplyDeleteGood Job! I use a string lol!
ReplyDeleteVery nice tutorial! Beaders are great, it is so hard to bead hair by hand especially with ends that are curling all over the place!
ReplyDeleteHi! I was wondering where did you buy the beader from. Thanks
